Should be 9.7 to 9.8 weight wise.

The Ribble bike builder wants £1037 for it, but I can get all the parts and build it myself for the above prices.

I toyed with the 'idea' of doing a Ribble R872 build from a frameset.

Seems bike builder options just adds common retail prices of all products.

I have seen a few posts/threads on here about Ribble R872 self builds & it would seem Ribble are not 'always' great to deal with, although problems can be resolved.

I have since put this to the back of my mind as my mechanic skills are not the greatest & I would have to pay a shop to build it for me.

Which would probably be better than getting Ribble to build it.
