Almost ready to knock off, but doing a little detour before I go to London Bridge. Thats one of the draws of cycling. You can change your route whenever pleasure, and make the trip more interesting...!
I don't feel as though I've really been out on the bike if I take the same route as the day before. I've got another couple of weeks working out in the suburban fringes of London so I've still got plenty of route variations to keep me wondering where I am.
I'm working on the principle that you don't really know an area until you've got lost in it...
Barring tunnels and motorway-style urban roads, I've now cycled every road in an more-or-less circular area of 63 square miles from here. That's probably quite easy to do in the countryside - but in London it means over 6000 miles cycling.
