dhb Aeron Pro Cycling Bib Short - 12 months on

Hi,
I purchased these (dhb Aeron Pro Cycling Bib Short) about 12 months ago. They have been great, the garment itself still as new... But the chamois, whilst still intact, I now feel is next to useless. How long ( used about once a week on weekend rides) is about average for a bib to last before renewal? I have been thinking of getting a pair of Asos, but would these chamois last about the same length in time?

Assos will repair garments that are getting worn, I sent an 851 jacket back before Christmas and had a new zip fitted FOC, all you have to do is contact them first to let them know you'll be returning it.
