Did I imagine this?

Evenings!!
I remember seeing an advert recently for some wheels. They had the same spline and everything as Shimano freehubs, but the hub didn't freewheel. You fitted spacers and a sprocket just like a singlespeed, but it was fixed.
Can I find the advert? Can I find the wheels? Can I heck.
Anyone come across these, or did I imagine it?

Think i saw something along those lines yesterday
It was a fixed rather than a freehub that screwed onto
a normal rear wheel,I thought thats no better than using
a sprocket and no lockring,but if you dont go skid stopping
everywhere it would be ok

Where did i see it..........................errrr pass

The surly fixxer is similar to what i saw but a better solution

Are you thinking of Halo Fix-G?

Nice hubs. They seem to be a pretty obvious (when someone shows you) evolution from the splined freehub (or would it be devolution?), by attaching a cog (and spacers) directly to the hub to ride fixed, rather than fitting a cogset with a built in freewheel onto the pretty much the same hub.

It's the ease of setting up the chainline that's appealing...
