dilemma of the century ..

guys and dolls i have a HUGE dilemma and i need some help .

at some point in the next few weeks i have to tie myself down to using just 1 bike for at least a month due to testing a certain saddle , so my question is which one of my bikes will it be

1. current commuter is Peugeot 531 racer
2. Mercian king of mercia
3. Giant speeder lite
4. Raleigh fixie
5. Saracen single speeder
6. Raleigh 501 triathlon
7. Carlton Corsair

all the above are ready to go just awaiting saddle fitment and setting chosen bike up with gaurds to combat the wet weather etc etc et
any thoughts or comment will be read and thought about before deciding

I would go for fixie or singlespeed, less to go wrong and interrupt the test.

Think I'd be looking at the 531 Pug or the 501 Raleigh. Both lovely tube sets. Or maybe the Mercian, love the look of their bikes, although have never been on one.

doug thats a tough question the Pug is a great bike , but it will seem such a waste not using the others

it feels wrong using a Mercian for 6 miles a day !

Alternatively, buy 5 of the saddle. Maybe an expensive way to test saddles, but it would get rid of the dilemma.

Fit mudguards to all the bikes, and then just fit the saddle to whichever bike you want to use each day.
I mean how difficult can it be to swap the saddle over as desired?

Also it will let you know if the saddle is better suited to one bike more then the others, or particularly bad on one bike.
