Hmmm...
London Critical Masses tend to start out that way, until the riders get separated. Quite a cacophony!

At other times I reckon the bells will be drowned out in the roar of traffic. And I don't have a bell - even if I were able to be in the capital on that day.

But I'm all for cyclists greeting each other - wherever they may be - with a friendly 'hello' or a nod.

Sorry: couldn't quite work out whether this was meant to be taken seriously! :wacko:

I hardly ever use my Japanese brass bell (only occasionally, when filtering), but if someone wants to greet me with a "ting" on the 9th, I'll happily reply in kind...

Ah antisocial London- noone greets anyone else at all- they just race each other at lights!
