Dirt, dirt cheap camera... heads up

I went into tesco with my bro about a month back looking for something else and found they had a 5mp teknica camera for 25 quid. Right next to it they had the same camera in a waterproof housing for 10 less.

So me and the bro bought one each but then I forgot about it... until today. Had a little go, cant figure out if it does sound, but it will do 10fps AVI video at 640 in a similar quality to the atc range but wider angle of view. Its good enough quality for a rear camera imo.

My brother did have a problem with the waterproof housing, its pretty tight and I think you'll need to wrap a bit of string around the cam to be able to tug it out.

So if anyone wants a cheapy to have a go at recording a trail or a commute perhaps its a possibility. I'll try and do some footage for youtube later
