Keith Oates said:I bet the research to obtain those statistics was painful and tiring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sam Kennedy said:Actually it wasn't too hard, I googled how big the internet was, then I googled what percentage of the internet is 'dirty', then I divided it by 700mb (using google again ) to figure out how many CD's it would take up, then I multiplied it by 1.1 to figure out how many mm it would be, then converted it to miles (using google! )
So basically Google did all the work
Sam Kennedy said:Yeah I might plan a 50 miler, I recon I could do it, 38 was easy, it was only once I stopped that I got the migraine. I also got a migraine off doing a 15 miler, and I didn't even break a sweat, but somehow scoffing a crunchy at the first sign of a migraine cured it xD
Now I have a medical reason to eat junk food
One thing which I don't like about cycling really far is just being alone, its nice being in the middle of northumberland and admiring the scenery, but not talking to anyone for 4+ hours can make it seem quite boring.
I've tried cycling with 3 other people, but one person is too slow, the other wont go cycling again in a while (that was after 25 miles :S ) and the third (My Dad) will probably be up to it, but was exhausted after 25 miles, so I don't want to push him
Some time next week I might cycle down the the Tyne, and follow the cycle route to just past Consett and Back, that will clock up 50 miles
One slight thing is I don't know the area too well, but I have gps on my phone if I do get lost
A hand in the bird is worth two in ... no, wait, that wasn't it. A hand in the bush? Something like thatJoe24 said:you can beat an egg, but you cant beat a fiddle!!!
