Iam Free that day are recumbents welcome depending on the weather of course

Absolutely!! the bigger the mix the better, no one gets dropped or is made to feel they are slow, simply not the point of these rides. I know you have done a 'bent ride at the water before, in fact we nearly popped along to say hello but were out riding elsewhere.

I've posted this on 2 other threads but worth letting those who are riding with me or live close, Icebreaker Merino base layers going for £10 at Cavells on South St, loads of other stuff too. They are open 10am-8pm tomorrow, 9.30-6 Sat and 10-4 on Sun.

I'm free that day and so am up for it. Not ridden with a group before, so this will be a new experience. Also I'm not used to really big miles, so I'll drive there and back, else it may be a step too far. Any suggestions for the best place to park for free in Oakham?

Usually plenty of places in and around the station, welcome on board, good to have another new face.

As long as I'm ok with an average of ~12 mph on my bent trike, then add me to the list please.

Hopefully I'll get the gears tweaked a bit this week so I may be slightly faster.

There are a few hills, but if I can rock up them easily enough on a 75" fixed then I should think the 'bents will be ok, in any case the boot will be on the other foot as I eat your dust on the downhills.
Did I mention that the ride goes ahead unless the forecast is monsoon rain, gale force winds or ice.

I'm tentative at the moment. Felt dreadful on Saturday's club run so will see how I get on this week.

At roughly what time do you expect to finish?

Phew...I've not ridden with a group before either Orange and also not used to big miles so will be a new experience for us both and glad I'm not the only one! Also I only average about 12mph as well and get scared going down big hills but I make up for it all with enthusiasm :-)
