Yes they do!
They turn others against us - we are perceived as a community.
Dr-Chars , a mountain biker who lives in Bristol, says it's inexperienced cyclists, not skilled riders who choose to do reckless things
Not always inexperienced...
Out on a ride one day with a buddy, we were joined by a 'bolshy-bikey'...
I was 30-40m in front. Bolshy and my mate were side-by-side chatting.
A car came up behind and Bolshy deliberately impeded an overtake and swore at the driver.
When the driver did manage to overtake, he cut in on
me - missing me by inches. Scared the sh1t out of me!
I wanted to knock Bolshy-tw4t out - he seemed completely unconcerned that he had put me in danger.
And
one more driver hates cyclists!
