Aaarggh!:B)

That was cold! Not as foggy as yesterday, so I thought it'd be a nice ride in. As soon as I got out the cold hit me. No idea what the actual temp was in Torrance, but it was much colder than yesterday. With about 5 miles to go I notice my front tyre going flat. Pooh!

I stopped and worked out it was a loose valve, so not a big problem to tighten and pump up, but it meant my gloves had to come off. That last 5 miles were the most painful I've ever had on the bike! xx( Ouch!

Ohh, it's bad news puncturing in this weather.

Saw a guy pushing his 'pucca' MTB last week - flat tyre. I stopped and asked if he was ok - 'yeh, not got any tyre levers' - "I can lend you some...." - Him "no it's OK I only work up the road" - Phew I thought, it was minus something silly....no need to take gloves off.

Blimey! That was another interesting commute home. I am taking the flatest and least slippy route home at the moment, but that means busy A roads. Not fun at the best of times, but certainly not fun when the fog suddenly descends. Boy was it thick! I really couldn't see very far ahead, but I didn't want to hang about too much on the busy fast roads. Uggh!

The conditions don't stop the nutters though. There were a couple of very stupid passes (despite there being a reasonable amount of safe overtaking oppertunities.

Oh well, that's me till after Christmas. I'm almost looking forward to wind and rain.....almost!:biggrin:
