I have had so many near misses lately by crazy drivers overtaking far too close to my bike I would like to be able to indicate my displeasure more effectively than simply waving and shouting.

I thought about a loud horn . I'm sure i would get enormous stress relief by being able to indicate their careless and inconsiderate driving.

The other day I was freewheeling down a hill in plain view and as I approached a round about a woman driver pulled straight out of a Garage and almost into my bike
I had to swerve at 20 mph around her car to avoid smashing into her. It was plain she just hadn't looked up the road and seen me.

Has anyone a good horn like this one to recommend for a road race bike

Yes I use two of them sometimes on peds and most of the time on idiot motons.

Reminds me I have to modify the horn buttons.

Hi

I have one on mine, just a little one, I did put one on the bike from a veteran car, but it was too big, and too loud. It was also too valuable to be left on my handlebars. The little one was on a carboot a few weeks ago, the wife said I could have it for just 20p, to take it away from her husband, who was honking it continuously!

Horns are so much better than bells!

Cheers

Old enough to know better, too old to care!
Used to have a megahorn. Often available from Halfords. It was great as the remote switch meant that I could sound the horn and brake at the same time. Sadly it died but I now have an AirZound. Not as easy to use but I'm working on a remote activator.
