I find it hard to believe that anyone this side of the Atlantic gives a monkey's. The Yanks of course specialise in this kind of puritanical idiocy, so no surprises about the whole thing over there. What did amaze me, along these lines, was Capello's declared 'demotion'of Terry - as if his bedroom antics have any bearing whatsoever on his capabilities on the pitch. We seem depressingly to have entered a new age of celebrity sanctimony. But why a paper like The Guardian should be putting Woods on its front page.....*sigh*....
