Does anyone keep parrots?

...this might be a complete no-brainer of a question, but do parrots like living outside when the temperature is as low as it has been over the last week?

That's kind of what I was thinking!

On a ride recently I saw a very cold Amazonian parrot, shivering away on a tree branch. It had a wooden box to sit inside, but that can't exactly have been very snuggly...

I think further investigation is required, hopefully it won't be tired and sha**ed out after a long squawk

Apparently it can talk for about 20 minutes without repeating itself much...

The pet shop I used to live near had a parrot that used to say "shut the door" if it was outside in the breeze...

Richmond and environs is full of parrots - parakeets. They are pests of the first order to allotment gardeners. Thousands of them, impervious to the weather.
When a flight of them passes all you can hear is "fc%k me it's nippy, fc%j me it's nippy..."

Yes but the coarse language they use means they get challenged on deviation
