That's kind of what I was thinking!

On a ride recently I saw a very cold Amazonian parrot, shivering away on a tree branch. It had a wooden box to sit inside, but that can't exactly have been very snuggly...

I think further investigation is required, hopefully it won't be tired and sha**ed out after a long squawk ;)

Parrots should be in doors in this weather. You could rescue it and send it to me, Bikepete wouldn't mind. :becool: ;)

Thanks Gromit - if it's still outside I'll do something about it.

My manager has just been given an unwanted parrot - it's only five and has a massive vocabulary already!

;)

The pet shop I used to live near had a parrot that used to say "shut the door" if it was outside in the breeze...

I suppose he will shortly have a very good prop for a Monty Python sketch if he does not get it right - presuming it is blue.;)

The same here in the south east.. bleedin' pain as they gobble up most of the next door neighbours plums, which meant less for us this year.. and Jeez they make a racket.

Richmond and environs is full of parrots - parakeets. They are pests of the first order to allotment gardeners. Thousands of them, impervious to the weather.
When a flight of them passes all you can hear is "fc%k me it's nippy, fc%j me it's nippy..."
