does anyone know anyone who works with glass in arts & crafts?

My mum has broken a glass sweet, both the sweet and the wrapper are made from glass and one of the ends had snapped off at the sweet. A small piece is missing (about 2mm by 3mm) and there is not sufficient contact to use glass glue so I was wondering if anyone knew of anyone who handled molten glass because its about the only way I can see of getting it repaired. (It was given to my mother by her mother not long before she died 2 years ago and my mother is rather upset (to say the least) it has been broken when she moved house earlier this year). We both accept the repair will not be 'perfect' but I was wondering if anyone knew anyone who might just... and no, we have no idea where they came from so I can't simply replace it...
thanks

Araldite for glass so it's the clear emulsion- thin layer on both pieces. I can't tell from the photo as it doesn't show me the join of both broken pieces to be able to tell you if it'll work- failing that local artisans will come up on a google search.

Good luck.

you see that gap on the bottom right of the wrapper where it leaves the sweet - that's the hole hence why I don't think glass glue will work. There are more smaller fragmets missing as well.

shall have a look at that and investigate.
