Missed that, unfortunately can't do it. I rode round as part of the Bike Radar Sportive a few years back, the hill after Starkeys is more substantial than you think (particularly after 75miles of the Peak District).

Enjoy.

What a great late afternoon/evening out for a quid!!
The weather was lousy to start with but after a lap or two, the rain eased off a bit.
There were a few hundred people there. Kids of about 4 yrs old, families and cyclists of every level enjoying the pleasure of a great road surface (NO potholes!!) no cars and a boast about having ridden a world class race circuit

Max Speed 38.9... I blame the wet weather for not getting the final 1.1mph to crack 40!
Average speed 17.4 mph

I definitely intend going there again

Last time I rode there my Max Speed was 148mph although the Honda did most of the work & I just hung on.

Do they do rides around Brands - that would be quite challenging as its hilly.
I used to live nearby and did a couple of 10km runs there - on the hill up to Druids runners were roping themselves together and driving pitons into the road surface.
