Done my first two consecutive days now, 30 miles yesterday, 38 today as I came back the long way! 3000 feet of ascent in the 2 days , had to suffer the push of shame at one bit, second bit of 20% gradient in about 800 yds, made the first and the continuing hill, but the second one did for me! Next time I will have it.
First time I've biked on a nice day! Glad I had some water.
Shall be having a day off commuting tomorrow, legs need it.

With a couple of rides at the weekend will top 100 for a week, if you told you that 5 weeks ago as I bought a bike I would have you down for the loony bin.

Thats excellant going! Puts many of us regulars to shame.

When you get up tomorrow have a little stretch and make sure to drink plenty of liquids. It will help you recover.

Cheers, done the cold bath thing, wow that's not nice, had a recovery shake, will stretch a bit more later tonight,

Easy rides with family over the weekend, so that should help also.

he, he, a 2009 Trek 7.2FX hybrid. Only got it to keep daughter company on rides, but seem to have got the bug.

I will eventually get a proper bike,

In between here and there
I will eventually get a proper bike,

95% of bikes are proper bike, so you are on a proper bike doing proper miles  N+1 is another matter which is what I think you meant...

Well done, keep it going it only gets better.

Exactly, its the riding that counts, not the bike in all reality. (He says knowing full well he has an 1800 quid racer locked in the shed...)

About to go out for a gentle 10 miler to the pub, lovely.
Also fixed the rear derailer on wife's bike that fell off while number 2 son borrowed it, feel like nearly a cyclist after that.

Yep N+1 may not stop at 1,

Nice slow and easy 10 miles and a couple of pints in beer garden overlooking a castle having ridden past a stately home, lovely way to finish the working work.
