Evening all...

Imagine for a moment that you've been given the green light to treat yourself to your dream bike - what would you get?

Budget isn't limitless, but you are out to get the best bike you'd ever own - what would it be?

I'm looking at the Focus Izalco Pro 2.0 - Di2, but something in me is telling me to push the boat a bit harder and get Dura Ace Di2 with it's 11 speed option.

Pinarello Dogma ticks all the boxes except the price!!

Thanks for your thoughts..

I'm building this years dream road and mountain bikes, :becool: All my current bikes have Di2 as will my new ones but I explicitly choose not to have 11 speed on the latest, as such I'm curious regarding what makes you feel you should push harder for the 11 speed

Legend HT 10.5. Full custom carbon- not just sizing but to suit the rider's weight and desired riding characteristics. And made by Marco Bertoletti, a frame builder of very fine reputation indeed. It's Italian, so I'd have Campag, natch.
Dogma? I think you mean this year's model, the Dogma 65.1 Think 2 ;) Made in Taiwan in a mould but priced like it's made to measure in Italy. Still nice though.

There are a number of ways in which its possible to achieve full Di2 depending upon what your requirements are and how cheap you want to go and if your willing to use second hand components or unofficial shift buttons, IMHO the 11 speed is the best thing ever to happen as its knocking the prices out of 10 speed dura-ace.
I convinced my LBS to break a couple of 2012 bikes as it would be easier to sell the components of the high end bikes rather than the complete bikes specially as they were in the colours of a team which no longer exist  You can't buy normal dura for what I paid for the group sets for my new builds.. well happy

I like the spread from 27-11 withthe extra gear. One less 'gap' in the range. Funny thing is that I have been happy with 10 speed for ages.. Now if Ultegra was 11 speed - I wouldn't even be looking at Dura ace.

Thanks for the reply's so far..
