On my way home from work, I was riding down Somerton Road in Street.
A school bus drove past me really close, then he started to pull in missing me by inches I touched the curb I stayed on 2 wheels but only just.
I was about to carry on home and I thought no, I am going to have a word with him.i turned round and followed the bus too the school, I pulled up behind the bus and went to the front of the bus where there where 3 drivers having a chat, I asked which 1 of them was driving the bus no one owned up, so I said well tell the driver they need to be more careful as they almost knocked of my bike.
I left there and carried on heading for home, when I saw the police station, so I called in and reported the bad driving and because I had taken the reg number down it would be able to trace the bus company ( the bus didn't have sign writing on it )
They said they would trace the company and have words to the driver

I would have walked into the school and spoken to someone there as well if you had gone that far, I'm sure they would have been very interested in the events?

It will be interesting to know how it turns out as if the driver denies everything, it becomes your word against his and since no collision occurred the Police may loose interest.
It is possible the bus is equipped with CCTV or the driver is known to the Police.
Since it is a school bus would it worth reporting the the local council, since they are normally responsible, unless it is a private school.

I think I will be ringing the County Council tomorrow thanks for that.
Don't think it would have CCTV on the bus as it was an old bus.

Thinking back my school bus drivers were always a very bad tempered lot, probably because they spent their day ferrying little bastards around!

What will happen, is they will have a word, that's it, and is usually enough for most folk to take it into account.

It was a plain white one, and the other buses were from Avalon no wonder they wouldn't tell me who the driver was

I have just found out who owns the coach and I have sent an emai to them.
