Ok so we all know this already but researchers have now found that the act of sending a text message while driving is a far greater danger than any other act associated with the use of mobile phones. Trouble is short of banning mobile phones where isn't a good way of stopping the morons from doing it... ;)

A few years ago I nearly got T-boned by someone pulling our from a side street without looking. As I came to an abrupt halt at her door I saw her texting on a phone in her lap. I gave her some verbal, to which her response was that it's my fault for not wearling "sumfink luminous". The fact that it was winter and I had a 13W HID lamp on the bike was lost on her. I guess she knew she ****ed up - just didn't want to admit it, to me or herself.

Im often on my Iphone on the internet whilst driving, normally on facebook or something. Not on short drives in built up areas though since that probably would be dangerous, as well as lots of police being around. But on long stretches i dont think its a problem.

I use my phone, sat nav and portable DVD player simultaneously - you need to work harder, blazed. Practice multi-tasking before you go back to school.
