Brandane
The Costa Clyde rain magnet.
I never bleat about close passes, never have never will. A closs pass is not the end of the world or the beginning of the end of the world. A close pass is a bit like an aircraft landing that you can walk away from, perfectly fine.
As long as when I stretch my arms out and they don't touch coffin sides I will celebrate and plan for the present and not fret about planning for the past.
I don't bleat about them either; at least not on a cycling forum as it's somewhat pointless.
What I WILL do is have words with a driver if I get the chance to catch up with them. This is in the naive hope that it might just improve their attitude towards cyclists in the future, and maybe save a less experienced cyclist from having their handlebars shaved by a car/bus/lorry/van.
