suggest some drops for my small hands. Setting Ergos on the tops for optimum hand position, (not especially high, compared with many) means that they are virtually unreachable on the drops. I never had this problem with traditional levers as I guess they could be made with a sharper curve as they were not as deep, having no gear levers inside them. Its as if the bars need a recess for the Ergos. Womens bars are no good, I want bars wider than normal anyway, let alone 42's. What I want is a bar with bugger all curve in front of the Ergo mount. Midge bars are by far the best but would prefer something that has the lever more upright. Any ideas?

This may help. A lot of people seem to like the FSA wing compact.

Happy new year. Im off drinking now.

Ta so far. They look good but rather narrow.Keep the ideas coming
They're available in up to 44cm. I've got the FSA Wing compact (not the pros - cheaper) on a new bike and agree they're incredibly comfortable, and the reach is even better than on my 3T Randonneur bars (now discontinued) which I'd previously had recommended for small hands.
