I’m going to swap bars between bikes and re-tape. Shouldn’t be too hard but the carbon Deda bars have internal cable routing so what’s the best way? I don’t want to be disconnecting the brake/gear cables at one end then feed back through as it’s more work.
Any tips?

I swopped out some aluminium bars (which transmitted a lot of road buzz though to my hands) which had regular external cabling for some carbon bars which had ports for internal routing. Having looked at what was needed I decided the brake hose would need to be a few inches longer so I bought some more hose, along with new barbs & olives.
In the end, even though I already have the appropriate Sh*man@ oil and a bleed kit, i Just CBA and left the routing external (under the tape) on the new bars.
