I got caught at 9:20 pm on the way back from the office. A sudden tropical shower on Chelsea Bridge that drenched me and my sub-ten-quid Lidl rucksack. I have no complaints about the rucksack, BTW, but it had a couple of sheets of doodles that were vaguely useful to me inside. The paper was distinctly limp when I got home. Being a bit impatient, I thought that I would speed up the drying process by sticking them in the microwave on "warm" for three minutes. They caught fire. Don't try this at home, kids. Why would that be? Paper isn't a million miles from sheets of pasta. They don't burst into flame.

Ooooh, a treasure island map! Where's the buried casket?

The grill is better!

Seriously, if you want to play with the kids and treasure maps, use indelible waterproof ink, then a light brushing of milk

Put under grill for a few seconds and you will get an antique map.

Too long though and it will become too brittle

Me and a friend found a fiver laying on the side of the road it was pouring with rain so peeled it off the road carefully then took it home and dried it with a hair dryer worked perfectly!! (We then went to the chippy and got sausage and chips to share):hungry:
