Dt axis 1.0 wheels.

Hi all,

I currently have a 2010 Spesh allez, with Alex rims fitted, now since having a tiagra groupset fitted on Saturday at my LBS, he pointed out that the rear cassette had some play in it that will effect gear changing slightly, so on my search for some cheap wheels,somebody has offered me a set of dt axis 1.0, with espoir sport tyres fitted, taken off a roubaix last year, with 3 months use, and I must say they look spanking new on the photos, for £40 + postage. Any experience with these wheels anyone, I am not a racing snake or anything close to it, just a rider out to enjoy it , and try to loose some weight in the process.
Any advice appreciated .

For that price I'd take them; I use DT Axis 1.0's as winter wheels on my Secteur. They've been fine for 3-4000 miles, although I recently put new bearings in the hubs as there was play in them.

The standard tyres (Espoir Sport) aren't any good though. I put mine onto a bike I was selling so I'd be rid of them.

For £40 the wheels are a bargain.
