So...

Got an old HP XW6000 running Windows 7 at work. Quite old but dual CPU and powerful enough for what it needs to do - I would however like to use dual screen.

This comes with two outputs but no drivers for Windows 7 - so can get two screens working but only cloned using MS standad VGA drivers.

So - I guess I either need an old PCI graphics card to add another monitor or replace the AGP with a card that supports two outputs.

I've had a look round on ebay but not sure which cards would work...

Any suggestions?

According to that you need nvidia or ati graphics drivers.
What does it say the card is in device manager ?
If it doesn't mention a specific make then try something like sisoft sandra to determine your hardware

Sorry - menat to say..

it has the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 280 card - but there are no Windows 7 drivers available hence looking at adding another card...

You could try the vista drivers on here: http://www.siliconguide.com/drivers/device/442/

Or this: http://dorkythorpy.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/nvidia-quadro-nvs-280-windows-7-drivers.html (i only read half of it ;))

Theres a few more links around via google, might be worth seeing if any of them work, but id guess you could get an AGP card to do the job for £30-40.

I did try a couple of drivers I found on the net but couldn't get them working- I'll try those links tomorrow... thanks...
