I used to think a lot of the stuff was really clever, still did after watching some Penn & Teller revealing the secrets stuff. Then I watched a behind the scenes thing on street magicians. Feck me, what a load of old toss, the old levitation bit, minus the editing for tv footage, was revealed to be nothing more than a wire and a forklift.
Paying people to look amazed while someone is lifted by a forklift and then editing out any incovenient footage isn't magic.
