Dynamo plugs: Alternative suppliers in car/motorbike industry?

I'm trying to order dynamo plugs, as seen below:

Our regular supplier doesn't stock them for some reason, and normal retailers want 0.75€ for one in some cases.

As I want at least 100 this would be expensive.

I'm told they are a common component in cars as well; I've found suppliers online but the plugs come in different sizes and I don't know how they are measured. Does anyone in the car industry have experience of these?

Are they the same thing as spade connectors? In the UK you can get 100 for £3.62.

You need 4.8 mm for SON dynohubs, or 2.8 mm for rear lights and most other dynamo-related connectors.
The 6.3 mm connectors are mostly for cars, but may be useful for odd jobs like a splittable wire.

St John St sell them in bulk lots (20/100/500, iirc)

The correct name for them is Lucar connector, which my turn up some sources other than the ones you've found so far. As others have said, they're sized by the width of the male blade they fit on, but the other size of interest is the size of the wire they're to fit on.

I'd wondered that: I can see it from work too, so I'll have a look when I next go and fail to get WD 40...
Did you sort a supply of these out?
