Ebay concerns

I saw people selling Bianchi logo kits for putting on bike frames etc on ebay....got me thinking ...hmmm....are peeps faking bikes and flogging them on ebay?

I ask because I know this happens all the time with fender guitars on ebay

Usually my ebay guitar purchases are legitimate and bona fide...no strings attached.

of course if your beloved bianchi gets a few scratches and a respray is deemed necessary, then those kits have a legitimate use.

I saw it happen - sadly too long ago to post the link. But basically someone had got one of those £80 MTBs with a full suspension Y shaped frame. They had painted with what looked like black gloss paint and stuck Santa Cruz stickers all over it.

Now guess what brand name they'd listed it as on Ebay? Well it wasn't Apollo...

Ive seen a few cannondale frames on ebay that look suspect.

I don't know how much it went for but the bidding was around £140 when I saw it. So that's at least £130 too much.
