Partial eclipse... just went outside to see this, and there was so much cloud, the effect was rather lost....
Remember the nearly-total (total in Cornwall, I think) eclipse back in 1999? I was having a bleedin' job interview at the time And i didn't get the job
My brother accidentally glanced up at it, and since then has had pemanent spots in his field of vision... the daft bugger!

You could say that I had an eclipse-less moment (thus uniting the twin themes of sun/moon celestial juxtapositioning and cycling). But perhaps that would be labouring the point.

As a kid I got told off for staring straight into the sun and got eclipse around the ear!
