I've just got back from an Elbow gig at Manchester's MEN Arena. They were awesome!
They'd recruited 2,700 of the audience immediately to the left and right of the stage as the 'Elbow Choir' and d fitted them up with white smocks/t-shirts and claimed that they had the worl'd largest choir.
The music was stunning - the brass and string sections added to the richness of the sound that the band generates and Richard Hawley made a guest appearance.
It was one of the best gigs that I've been to.
