I received my energy meter from BG about a week ago.
It turns out that I am averaging about 6-7 KW/H per day.
Considering that I cook using electric, is this considered good?

It depends how many people live in your house. If there was 1 person it would be high. If there were three or four it would be low.

It's about the same as mine, but my water is heated by an old emersion heater. I will change it to something better one day.

We are about 8-9kwh at this time of year (family of 4). If it's cold, wet and we've a stack of washing to dry then it can peak at 20kwh.

Interesting to see what the base consumption of electricity is when you go to bed - ours is about 160w - this goes up a bit in winter when we have a couple of 'tube' heaters on in the garage.
