Create a yahoo/hotmail/Gmail account and tell him/her the password. That way you can both log into it. simplez

I use google apps for All our websites, and emails set up under it canbe controlled by the admin (me) so I can reset passwords and read emails if I so choose. This could be a better shout?
Our eldest is 10 and ready for an email account.

My main email address is on Yahoo, so I looked at their family accounts. I can set one up for him, but all it seems to do is require me to authorise the account because he's under 10. The rest is the same.

I'd like an account that I can set up so that he can't mess with the settings and I can control but still allow him to log in independently. Is there something that does this?
For once a safety item we can agree on!

There is an article here on seting up filtered email addresses on AOL, Windoze, or the kid's site Zoobuh
