Email problems -help !

I have been using thunderbird for my email for a while now and never had a problem with it till recently when it has started moving random amounts of unread non spam mail to the bin.
The mail is in bold and the bin lists the number of unread mail in the bin.

I have tried the knowledge base and support and a few others have had the same problem but no reason why has been given.

I've not had any problems like that, so I can only suggest that you check;
1. Current version is 3.1.9
2. Are you Addons updated
3. Check Message filters
4. You could reset the junk Training Data
5. Under Account Settings, check Disk Space rules
6. Under Account Settings, check Junk Settings

Do you have any other software installed that intercepts email like a virus checker??

I had an issue with Thunderbird 3 repeatedly downloading all my mail (including old mail I'd read) each time it started. Rather than spend ages getting to the bottom of it, I reverted to a 2.-something version. I like Thunderbird, but I find it a bit quirky.
