I saw her in Waitrose once, the Marylebone High Street one. That's when she was just a lowly BBC London presenter. I think the studio is just across the road. Or maybe that's just radio. Don't know. I didn't notice her legs or toes though, but I'm pretty sure she had both in the standard number.

I did notice what was in her shopping basket though; a bottle of chardonnay and a microwave meal for one. Made me feel kind of sorry for her. I'd always called her beaky (not to her face of course, that would have been rude, only when I saw her on tele) but I stopped doing that after that day. Didn't seem right somehow.

Have you noticed the women who does the BBC London news now? She sits side on and very upright. Must be uncomfortable.

From the Daily Wail:

"Miss Maitlis's style of presenting was described as "indulgent" and "completely inappropriate". One viewer complained that she was "flashing her legs" while another added: "It is thoroughly unprofessional and obviously meant to be titillating. It is giving out all the wrong messages."

These are probably the same people who still insist on covering up their table legs in case the vicar gets excited.
