These look good, but I can't find any explanation of the sizes, so I don't know whether to get small or large.
It's for my Spech Crosstrail, which is a pretty big bike.

I am a normal sized bloke and had large. I did not find them particularly comfy so replaced them with some rubber covered ergo ones with a recess for the ball of the hand

Thanks. I might reconsider then.
Do you know if the small and large refers to the size of the pad then, and not the diameter?

Hand size is at the bottom left of the two pics.

Thanks. Looks like either will fit on my bars. I'll have a look at some other options too.

arrived promptly from Taiwan. I have an older pair I got in a Dutch bike shop so tracked them down online. You still need normal grips on the bars. It is hard to see the design in that pic but there are two other pics there. They look odd but are really comfy. Not over padded at all
