I have been unable to find out any info on the case of one Alex Gossett, accused of spreading tacks on the road during the event this year.

Anyone got any info on the outcome after he was arrested?

Not sure about the criminal side of things, but I know a couple of people that were affected and they plan to bring separate civil claims against him to court. Each of which he will have to answer to and pay legal costs for if the ruling is against him. If each rider that suffered damages to property do the same he could well be a familiar face in the court. Certainly the guys I know were not willing to go for an out of court settlement.
