Etrex 20 Mounts

I've decided to bite the bullet and get an Etrex 20 mainly for audaxing duty. Trouble is which mount to go for if I want to fix it to the stem or tops? Thanks for any help.

Option B won't work with the new eTrex models (10, 20 or 30), so forget that one.

I've an etrex 10 and use option A, which you can fit to the stem or bar, and if you get the zip ties tight enough it's a good solid fit. Make sure you get genuine Garmin ones though as there are plenty cheaper (Chinese) copies floating about that don't hold it securely, so you may loose your GPS at the first pothole.

Option C is 3rd party, so the comment above re security most probably rings true

Option A is fine, far better than B was for the older models. The only thing to be weary of is that the unit is firmly clipped in, as a safety measure I'd recommend getting a lanyard and looping it to the bars, if it did for any reason become detached is isn't going to go bouncing down the road.
I bought a 20 last year, I really like it after struggling to get on with the Hcx. However I do regret not spending the extra few quid and getting the 30, it's main advantage is the compass works when you're stationary, I've been caught out a few times when I have to set of and ride in any direction for the map to turn the right way.
