Well at long last the bastard has gone. My kidney stone was blasted this morning at St Richards Hosp, Chichester. Would the fnrttc Emsworth please salute that brilliant hospital on passing. They had to go in to break it up and currently it's like piassing razor blades but the nurse told me I could begin cycling and/or jogging after 48hrs. It's been six months since properly riding my bike and I now have two weeks off work to recover. I was told it may take two ops, a stent and a night in hospital, in the end it was one op, no stent and no overnight. It has been a wait to get to this point but right now I'm a happy bunny. Thanks all for the well wishes yesterday

Must be a relief Roy! It makes my eyes water thinking about it.

I know, there is just no way I would have got a stone under a labour government, things would have been much more free flowing and the recovery is so painful.
I think you'll find that the stone had grown fat and bloaty prdominantly under labour and the stiff medicine and tough corrective action of the Tories, whilst harsh has solved the problem and got you back on your feet ....

Well done, good news On a recent trip to hospital I had a catheter in for five days, after it was taken out I described going to the toilet as like pissing broken bottles.
