I've been cycling pretty much my whole life and I've been a regular commuter in the last three years.

You can find me on CS7 between Morden and Vauxhall wearing an quite distinctive blue helmet and GoPro.

I'm really sorry to read that your bike was stolen. I hope you get it back, but from what you've said it doesn't look promising.

If you have to replace it, look at last years red triban 3. Better spec, including carbon fibre fork, and currently the same price as the white one; Link.

The red Triban was my first choice but they don't seem to sell my size any more

I've emailed Decathlon today to find if it's going to be discontinued as it looks like its being phased out...

I've really enjoyed being a roadie for five weeks (came from a MTB with slicks) and I'll definitely to miss it (no more holidays for me this year).

I'll be back on my Brompton until i get a replacement

Yes, strictly speaking the red one has already been phased out. However, the word is that it sold so well in the UK that they are having extra batches made specially for us. If you keep in touch with your local Decathlon store you may find that your size becomes available.

Alternatively, if your budget can be stretched a bit, the 2013 Triban 5 is the upgraded version of last years Triban 3.

I've been trying to track down a red Triban 3 for the last week or so too. Stock is coming into store but it's all reserved. Same with the Triban 5 mentioned above too.

eBay looking like the best option now.
