I've been having another go at sorting out my Canon printer, and trying to get hold of a service manual. The only one I've found is on a site called 911 Manuals, which looks a bit on the flakey side. Has anyone ever used this or a similar site? Can I trust it?

Have you tried the manufacturer site? Is it not at e.g. http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=DownloadIndexAct

It is probably a silly question but have you tried Canon's website? In particular I often find producers' USA website provides more extensive support than UK/European ones. In this case you might want to try this but sometimes the model number/desination can be different.

What is the model?

Thanks chaps

Unfortunately that site produces 'no hits' for the printer I have. It's a w2200, which is an old (but not *that* old) large format printer, very popular with graphic design studios and the like. But no longer supported by Canon, sadly.

Blimey, you're good! Thanks all - unfortunately those are user guides, which I have - I'm after the actual service manual, that tells you which screws to go for and how to reset the brain.
