He does.

You will die.

There's no escaping it, although you can improve your chances.

The trick is to live to 100.

Very few people die after their 100th birthday. That might be the way to beat the odds.

Sorry I can't be more constructive.

I think it's normal after returning to commuting after a few days.

I had a couple of scares earlier this week after the long Easter break.

They were both my own fault as I wasn't concentrating. I was riding like I was riding in the Dales a few days earlier with no traffic - day dreaming

Those scares certainly brough my alertness back.

Okay, it's not dramatic as it's all slow motion

Given that today was my second day back taking short, direct, commuting carefully and seeing how my shoulder feels day-to-day (may give it a rest tomorrow), thanks to injuries called by someone pulling across my path...

Glad it was all at slow speed...

That looks like the front wheel of a beemer
So no surprise there
Glad it missed!

He stopped. What more do you want?

I don't think the rates of these incidents change - you'll just get better at spotting them in advance! I tend to assume people will pull out in front of me (especially BMWs, Chelsea tractors and Addison Lee taxis) and then feel pleasantly surprised when they don't. Tis a shame really.

It's not a good roundabout as I've said several times.
