Hi,
I'll admit that I know very little about this bike:
Frame and forks are by Diavolo, and in Columbus Aluthron 7005 alloy. Groupset is Campagnolo Xenon, with 170mm crank arms, a 52/39 and 12-23 cassette. Wheels are Gipemme Tecno 024 with new Schwalbe tyres/tubes. Bars are BBB, stem is Cannondale, and the saddle is a Selle San Marco. I'm unsure of the exact size of the frame (in other words, I haven't measured it...) but it's on the large side. I'm abour 5'10 or so, and I wouldn't like to ride it if I was any shorter really.
I picked it up a few months ago, and while it's been great fun to ride, I'm now after a mountain bike after an incident involving a few pints of beer and one of those daft plans to enter the Manx end to end for a laugh. So, I'm on the lookout to exchange this for a half decent mountain bike so I can at least get some practice in before setting sail for the Isle Of Man later this year. I really know very little about mountain bikes, so I'll happily listen to any reasonable offers - I'm after a hardtail for preference. I'm based near Cambridge, but happy to travel within reason.
Oh, and if anyone actually knows anything about it, I'm all ears. Searching the web for Diavolo cyclocross frames hasn't really given me any useful information. Looking at the paintwork, I'm guessing it's 1990s vintage. But really, that's just complete guesswork.
Ta,
nr.
