gorgeous.... has it got any waterproof stowage at all ? I'm looking to get something next spring but can't decide what. ;)

The black front hatch opens to the whole hull so camping equipment is no trouble the small hatch is just a waterproof shallow pocket, but a few people have cut out the bottom and made a it open to the hull, Ocean kayaks seem to be the best buy in the UK and have a good after sales service.

theres a good centre down at Weymouth too. I'm hoping to join some of their sea kayaking trips next year to get my sea-legs . Can't wait. I've always enjoyed spuddlng on the water.;)

We should organise a CC ride and kayak event

Nothing waterproof, no. That centre hatch has a mesh bag in it, but if water gets into the hull then it won't stay dry. Loads of storage behind the seat beneath those elastics. I've just bought a set of 5 dry bags from alpkit for 15 quid.
Perception kayaks are the most popular sit on tops, and are made in the uk, but this one had the best space at the front to fit one of my boys on with me.

Sorry the centre hatch is solid part of the kayak and has no mesh bag, the front hatch is plastic, and also has a neoprene cover as a second defence, and if all else fails my kayak has an electric bilge pump, it also has a fishfinder, and 360 degree white navigation light.
Last time I was out playing in the waves it spent more time upside down than right way up, when I got back to dry land there was not one drop of water in it
