It's the FIA regulations that the reults can only be changed before the end of the year. In order for Alonso to have been disqualified, this would have needed to come to light before 31st Dec 2008.
And Ferrari did screw Felipe's race on that occasion
Ok ... even allowing for that, Massa lost an almost certain win later in the season when his engine blew three laps from the end. There has to be a limit to how much they can blame Renault for.
Besides, it was Ferarri's ridiculous "traffic light" pit box exit system that let Massa go early.
I think Renault got off lightly. Although the evidence isn't there I'm also one not to believe Alonso is an angel, I think the sport would be better off without him. I think he's got his just deserts by going to Ferrari. They should get on well.
