Just bought a Falcon Futura on Ebay, £80 - Ally frame, in 'like new' condition....does anyone know if this is an OK bike? I had a Falcon years ago that lasted for about 20 years (my dad used it after me)..I just wanted something to go out for a ride with my 9 year old son on, he has a Falcon Zombie (Ebay £40).....
Thanks
Jakesnadsdad.

Hello there! I don't know personally, but someone will be along to help soon no doubt, and failing that, there are the specialised parts of this forum where you can ask.

Hi and :welcome:.

Not knowing this specific bike I did a bit of a search and came up with a couple of models with the same name. I'm guessing yours is the front suspension mountain bike ?? which looks an okay bike and £80 seems to be about right for it.

Like several old brands, Falcon isn't the company it once was. They now mostly cater for the cheaper section of the market so I wouldn't expect this to be as robust as your old one. It should be a perfectly adequate ride though.

Hi and welcome I own a British Eagle mtb (part of the falcon group) ok it's a cheap heavy old mtb but she has done me proud, so once it arrives just check it over etc then get out and ride ! :bicycle:
