What are the telltale signs that you have fallen in love? I reckon that i'm in that mode at the mo.i' ve met a fab lady that ticks all my boxes and she cycles lots too...i'm 51 and been around the block several times but never felt like this before......feel like I've won the lottery but better feeling

Tell tale signs for me is when I can't bear to leave her outside in case she gets wet, or even stolen. That is why I threw the bed out of my spare room and now use the room for storing bikes.

Awww, how sweet.

Not long after I started seeing my gorgeous OH (who I'd already known for around 10 years, incidentally), he left my house after a date and I sat down and cried with grief that I wasn't going to see him again for a couple of weeks. I then realised I'd fallen head over heels, which was something I thought would never happen after my divorce.

True love is a wonderful thing

When I was 18, I was the seaside with my then girlfiend (it didn't work out, but we are still in touch 30+ years later) and I wrote a massive 'ILY' (the L being a heart) in the sand with my foot. An old geezer, walking along with his wife, said to me 'It's a great feeling, it's what we're here for, hang on to it' and both gave me a massive hug. I've always remembered that, and although the feeling has come and gone several times in my life, thinking of that feeling can still make me blub. Best drug ever... good luck @Herbie , may the feeling last.
