Family fun bikes!

I'm looking to take the family away this summer to France for a short bike tour, and so am buying them all bikes(!) but with obvious financial limitations. I'm trying to limit it to £100 each, and so far have bought a Trek 1000 in vgc.
Any ideas of decent bikes welcome!
And I've seen some bargains in the for sale section, but need to make some posts!
