I suppose a good age for a pig. At least she won't end up as rashers...

I enjoyed the TV drama, a few years ago.

No offence intended, but it was a pig! Would've no doubt made good sausages and bacon in it's prime.

But rashers is a pig's destiny! Without rashers (and chops and sausages and crackling etc) there would have been no reason for man to keep pigs, and domestic pigs wouldn't exist.

Still, it was a good story, and they seem to have done well out of it all.

True, and they should have good lives and a good death. But without meat, they wouldn't exist.

Also, they are one of the few things we eat that would eat us given a chance, so I reckon the odds are evened a bit.
