I was trying to think of this when I heard the news on the radio. She did do other stuff as well didn't she? I know about the Nora Batty role, which I never found particularly funny, but she was in other things as well as a main character, wasn't she?

She was a district nurse for a while I think.

Was she in Juliet Bravo?

OMG - I've just realised that I'm 8 years older than Nora Batty ! (Well, how old Kathy Staff was when she started out in the role. That's really scary!)
